Bridgeport Brewing Company is teaming up with the Komen Race for the Cure of Oregon, SW Washington and Puget Sound ® with ‘Case for the Cure.’ Throughout October – National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – BridgePort Brewing Company’s ‘Case for the Cure’ program will donate one dollar for each case of BridgePort Brewing product sold at participating retailers to Komen for the Cure of Oregon, SW Washington and Puget Sound ®.
Consumers can reach for their BridgePort favorites, including BridgPort IPA, Blue Heron Pale Ale, ESB, Black Strap Stout, Ropewalk Amber Ale and Ebenezer, at participating Portland area grocery retailers such as New Seasons, Fred Meyer, QFC, Thriftway, Albertsons, Zupans, Whole Foods, Market of Choice, Roths and specialty beer retailers such as Belmont Station, John’s Market in Portland and the Bier Stein in Eugene.
In addition, the Brewery will also be participating in something new this year, ‘Pints for the Cure.’ BridgePort Brewing Company will donate a percentage of money for each BridgePort IPA, Blue Heron, Ebenezer, or Porter pint sold during Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of it’s ‘Pints for the Cure’ promotion. Beer lovers can participate in this promotion by visiting BridgePort’s brewpub + bakery, BridgePort Ale House or local pub’s around Portland including Angelo’s, A & L Tavern, Hanigan’s aks the Vern and The Cheerful Tortoise and ordering their favorite BridePort brew on tap.
