2 Oregon Brewers will be on hand for the kickoff for the 2,500th SNOB contest. Ben or Christian from Hopworks Urban Brewery will be bringing their Alt and Red and Alex Ganum from Upright Brewing will be on hand with #6, his dark rye beer and the debut of Reggae Junkie Gruit made with herbs and spices.

First up Oregon SNOB Idol:
I will be taking photos tonight for the SNOB photo that will go into the Oregon Craft Beer Month pull out in the Oregonian. You will need to sign a release form. The judges, made up of pr and marketing people, will decide whose photo gets published and read by 700,000 of the Oregonian’s and Southern Washingtonians on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009. All photos will be uploaded to our FLICKR site will appear on the Oregon Brewers Guild website at www. oregonbeer.org

You will be able to sign up or renew your SNOB membership.

You will automatically be entered into two contests.

One person will be named the 2500th SNOB at Baileys Taproon at 3:30pm on July 11th, 2009
and will receive SNOB membership for life and two tickets to the Oregon Brewers Guild Brewers Dinner.

Everyone who signs up or renews their membership between 05/20/2009 and before
before 3pm on July 11th, 2009 at the Bailey’s Taproom, 213 SW Broadway,
503-295-1004 will be entered to win a prize package worth approximately $300 made up of OBG merchandise and tickets to OBG events.
