Barbecue Competition
There are currently openings for 25 barbecue teams to compete in the Jack Daniels and Tabasco challenge sponsored by the NW Barbecue Association. The winners move on to a national qualifier. Not only is this a fun and delicious undertaking, but it will support The Bald Faced Truth Foundation, which helps inner city kids with access to sports equipment. $5 suggested donation at the door for Bald faced Truth foundation. Special cooking categories (cooking with Jack Daniels and cooking with Tabasco) at 3 and 4pm respectively. Music both days from 12-4pm and 6-9pm. Sunday dedicated completely to the main event cooking (brisket, ribs and pulled pork). Food donated and supplied by Sysco.

IPA Challenge
Try a range of locally brewed India Pale Ales (IPAs) that will available in sampler flights of 8 for $10. You be the judge as to which IPA is crowned as the best. There will also be a panel of local beer geeks choosing their favorites. Live music will also be going on throughout the day to set a fun and festive atmosphere. IPA judging commences at 4:00pm and awards will be announced at 5:00pm.
