Pints Brewing Co. is located in old town Portland. It has been a successful and popular pub for almost two years. With live music and a great atmosphere of an old town brick bar and located right by the train station this new brewery is sure to be an even bigger success with the addition of the brewery and restaurant. McMenamins’ Current Seasonal Ale:Kris Kringle Yuletide Ale
PORTLAND, Ore.—Monday, November 21, 2011—Just in time for the holiday season, McMenamins breweries offers you Kris Kringle, a festive seasonal ale to help get you into a merry-making frame of mind. Stop by any McMenamins pub, hotel, brewpub, theater or other venue in Oregon or Washington to have a few rounds on tap, or – new this year – purchase limited-edition 22-ounce bottles of Kris Kringle at select Oregon locations, available a short time ‘til they’re gone.
About Kris Kringle Yuletide Ale: Available at all McMenamins through December 24
The busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for friends and family this holiday season. The 2011 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This “winter warmer” highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of four different hop varieties were added in five different additions, delivering a magnificent and massive hop assault. There’s still some ginger and cinnamon added into the batch but the spices are a little more subdued than in years’ past. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years’ version of our old holiday favorite, Kris Kringle — it pairs well with McMenamins burgers, our Black and Tan Brownie or as a dessert all its own.
Malts: GWM Pale Ale Malt, GWM Munich Malt, GWM Wheat Malt, GWM 15L Crystal Malt, GWM 120L Crystal Malt, Baird’s Chocolate Malt Hops: Centennial (bittering & flavor), Santiam (flavor), Cascade (flavor & aroma), Sterling (flavor & aroma) Alcohol by Volume: 6.84%
McMenamins holiday specials-$17 a four-pack of 22-oz. bottles, $55 cases or an etched-glass growler plus a gift card to fill it with beer for just $15.
